Sinusitis

Sinusitis is an inflammation or swelling of the tissue that lines the sinuses. The sinuses are structures within the face that are normally filled with air. Bacterial and viral infections and allergies can irritate them and cause them to become clogged and filled with fluid. This can cause facial pressure and pain, nasal congestion (stuffy nose), and other symptoms.
